Acreage home builders, North Brisbane

Oakridge Living is a family-run team of acreage home builders north Brisbane families turn to when they want a builder who actually walks the block before quoting. Most of our acreage work sits between Samford, Dayboro, Kilcoy, and the Sunshine Coast hinterland, and we treat every site as its own puzzle.

Why choose Oakridge Living for your acreage build

The project manager IS the builder.

Acreage builds are not just larger versions of suburban homes. They sit on bigger blocks, often with slope, soil variation, overlays, and long service runs.

The team at Oakridge Living has roughly 40 years combined experience across exactly this kind of work. We build across Brisbane through to the Sunshine Coast.

The project manager is the builder. You ring one number, you get the person making the calls on your site. No call centre, no salesperson handing you off to a different department once the contract is signed.

We are honest about what an acreage block needs. Soil testing, contour surveys, longer driveways, water and septic planning, fire and flood overlays. We will walk you through each of these before the contract, not after.

Our positioning is simple: bespoke-level service without the bespoke-level price tag. We keep overheads low and trade relationships long, so you get the personal builder-led experience without paying the premium that a $2M+ luxury builder would charge.

Marketing plans for our standard designs are on the website. Detailed dimensioned plans are sent out by the team after an enquiry.

How an acreage build with Oakridge Living runs

Every acreage project follows the same honest sequence:

Often on the block itself, so we can see what we are quoting.

  2. 2

    Site review

Slope, access, soil indicators, services, and overlays.

  3. 3

    Plan selection or custom design

We match one of our standard plans or a fully custom design to your block, its slope and its outlook.

  4. 4

Soil tests, contour survey, and engineering

    Arranged through specialists we trust.

    Preliminary agreement

    With a clear scope.

Acreage work across North Brisbane, the hinterland, and Kilcoy

Our preferred service area runs from Brisbane City out to the Sunshine Coast, through Samford, Dayboro, Mt Mee, D'Aguilar, Woodford, Kilcoy, and the hinterland behind Maleny and Montville. We assess blocks outside that footprint case by case.

Acreage blocks in this region vary wildly. A flat 1-acre lot in Dayboro behaves nothing like a 5-acre sloping site in Mt Mee, so we quote off the actual site, not a website calculator.

If you have a block in mind but are not yet under contract, bring us in early. Catching a soil or overlay issue before settlement can save you tens of thousands.
